Fluffy Blankets

Merlin had some time at home today, waiting patiently whilst we visited the shops in Chichester. It was busy. The streets full of shoppers, choirs, and buskers. Our tasks achieved we left for home. I can’t say I miss crowded shopping centres and particularly over heated shops. Afterwards I spent an hour of digging at the allotment and an hour walking Merlin in the fresh air. Later Father Christmas visited our street on his sleigh. Merlin didn’t know what to make of the situation and simply stared out the window silently transfixed! As you can see he is now relaxing with his blankets.

Grateful today for:
- Perfectly poached eggs on toast for tea.
- A thoughtful Christmas card from a friend.
- Finding a new pair of trousers that actually fit.
