Looking up...

...past the Christmas lights of Leeds to get a glimpse of the sunset.

A lovely day, mostly spent in Leeds with Tom and Lucy (extra). I'd had a long-standing arrangement to meet Tom for lunch, and as she had returned from London a week earlier than planned, Lucy was able to join us.

We met at Friends of Ham, where Tom and I opted to share a Seasonal Charcuterie Board, and Lucy had a 'Small Plate' of beans - all delicious. We lingered over our wine, and when we eventually left two and a half hours later, Tom and I said goodbye to Lucy before having a quick look around John Lewis.

The journey back to Holmfirth was much easier than last time I went to Leeds - no cancelled trains today, thank goodness!
