Day #10 Cartagena

We arrived at Cartagena by air this morning.  We visited the castle that was transformed into a fort, the largest in South America.  After lunch, we visited the monastery and the highest point in the city.  The highlight for me was a tour of the old town with Freddy.  We began with chocolate and rum, followed by a very brisk walk through the crowds of the city.  We stopped for beer before visitingthe ceviche stand endorsed by Anthony Bordane.  A G&T at the rooftop bar concluded a busy day.
