Confusing

The clock time is wrong and has been ever since what was the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary was decommissioned and the renovation work started all those years ago. I like to think that when all the work is done to the satisfaction of Edinburgh University, someone will reinstate the clock to working order.

It was actually 8:45 not 11:45 as I strode forth to shop at  M&S before the Christmas Market opened and the Christmas shoppers descended. I had a coffee in the shop and marvelled at how civilised it all was in contrast to the scrum that will ensue next week as people mob the shop for festive food and there will be no room for the restaurant.

Two family phone calls and one to a very long standing Glasgow friend plus a walk to see daughter#2 before she departs for Christmas at Rannoch and another day is slipping into history.  Time to pull the blinds and settle to watch the final of Strictly.
