Chain removed

One of the jobs on my to do list has been selling J’s car. It’s been causing me lots of stress. Particularly because he had a thick chain padlocked around the seat and the steering wheel as a security measure. I could unlock the steering wheel, but despite finding a key in the drawer with the v5 document and it having the same logo as the padlock, I hadn’t been able to unlock it. J’s friend came this morning with his angle grinder. He actually cut the chain, but then wondered whether he could cut the padlock. Unfortunately I didn’t think to photograph the impressive sparks from the padlock, which would have made a more interesting blip.
