Star Anise

My husband usually plans/prepares our Christmas feast but I like doing the associated festive baking so it’s time to get spicy. Not sure I’ll be using star anise but it was irresistible for festive TT blipping.

Well it was that or the pseudo Christmas beetle (see extra). There’s been a drastic decline of Christmas beetles in recent years so people have been getting excited by the inundation of these, but I think this one is an Argentinian visitor saying “Feliz Navidad”.
