The calm before the storm

The sun tried to come through the clouds while we were feeding the cows this morning. This fantastic view that the cows have (not that I really think they care about the view!) is looking north towards Nelson.

Not long after this photo was taken, it unfortunately started to rain. The builder is pouring concrete this morning up at our cowshed, not exactly the best job to be doing in the rain, however, the forecasters got it wrong again today. Hopefully they will be able to cover it before it gets too pitted.

My thoughts are with all the blippers down South who have a snow warning out. Hope you all stay safe, dry and warm.
