They're Off to see the Wizard. . .

Full of courage with his medal proudly displayed, the Lion (Eli) welcomed Dorothy (Harper) with her ruby slippers on and Toto in her basket, to an early celebration of his birthday today (his birthday is the 22nd).

There was the yellow brick road filled with little ones and balloons, family and friends. There were games and prizes, presents, strawberry birthday cake with cream cheese icing, emerald green punch and a rainbow of flowers.

On our way into the restaurant, afterwards for lunch, Eli squeezed my neck and said, "I love birthdays".

So do I.
