A Very Gospel Christmas

I feel I might be in danger of running out of superlatives in this one.

Discussions for this event started way back in Spring and it was in July that I met with a representative of the Lichfield Choir for a site visit at St Martin in the Bullring. The past three weeks I feel like I’ve been doing nothing but think about this event.

There were some stressful moments today, mostly due to us choosing a church with absolutely zero parking in Birmingham city centre on one of the busiest days of the year.

But the joy far outweighed the stress. Our wonderful team of staff and volunteers pulled off the most perfect event. It was festive, joyful and inspirational which was exactly what we were hoping for. Our founder and CEO, Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow came down for the event which was an absolute honour as well as our young superstar, Michael, who had his poem performance seen by the entire audience. So many absolutely brilliant guests and a night I will remember for a very long time.
