Raining today, all day. Though Elizabeth was still keen to take Archie out for a while, and then to hang out with her at her flat, while she made soup. Great. That suited us, because we were due over at Hazel's for a confab about our next holiday arrangements. 

Destinations have varied for months. Switzerland was a hot favourite for a while until we looked at costs... the Dolomites were also looked at, but not really suitable for someone of limited mobility (moi). Now we've settled on Seville, a place we've always wanted to go back to after a brief visit on a holiday years ago. Hotels, planes, dates etc being checked out by Hazel. She’s an excellent tour leader.

We had some delicious Waitrose nibbles, and some lovely wine. We admired Hazel's understated Christmas decorations. 

Archie reluctantly agreed to wear his waterproof coat. Elizabeth was soaked by the time she got here. But they were both happy!
