From the dark corner.....

Arse 2!

Well I had another Arse back at the end of March and now we have another one.

The answer is 'No!' before anyone asks! I wasn't trying to copy this starling doing gymnastics off the bird feeder to see if I could get a picture of my own arse! No pain today so I think I am going to survive after my brush with a bum biting bug. I didn't need to take Baron up on his kind offer to suck the poison out although I was quite tempted as he seems to get to some nice places!

Anyway, what happened today? Nothing much really apart from the usual total humiliation in front of Tesco Man. When the doorbell went, I was in the middle of dragging things out of the washing machine. I'm quite a jumpy, nervous person and for example, when in Edinburgh, I stop in the middle of the street when it's near to 1pm and stand with my fingers in my ears so I don't leap six feet into the air when the 1pm gun goes off at the castle. Seriously, I trod on someone's toe at Camera Obscura a few years ago and made a right show of myself shrieking when the gun sounded. I'm not very heavy mercifully so the poor misfortunate man stood behind me wasn't crippled for life or anything. My red face was the biggest hurt!

Sorry, I'm waffling again. Where was I? Oh yes! The doorbell went while I was pulling things out of the washing machine and I jumped up and ran to the door, yanked it open to see Tesco Man (the big one with the deep voice) standing there with three crates grinning as usual while I said 'Hello' and waved two pairs of knickers and a bra at him! Horror of horrors! I hurled the items behind the front room door and took the shopping in with a blood red face..... I swear he was grinning more than usual after that. I'm sure they have started drawing lots at Tesco to decide which delivery man gets to deliver to THE MAD BAT!

Dearie me! Oh well. The rest of the day was OK. I didn't go out as it was drizzling and at least I wouldn't end up sitting on another poor creature while I had a lovely chat! I didn't ring mom today as her sister Noreen is up there for a week. Much as I'm fond of my aunt, I'd still be on the phone now if I'd spoken to her. These Irish ladies can certainly talk!

Track? To go with my red face, I think we'll have a real classic from Wishbone Ash tonight - You See Red
