Tapping Into The Sinking Stars (Director's Cut)

It's the end of the week and I'm feeling shattered. Work has been pretty full on this week but at least today was quieter as I managed to finish all my editing and get the images uploaded to the correct server (eventually). Sometimes some of the organisation regarding our workflow becomes farcical. Today's was the fact that, at the moment, we have a Photography server that none of the photographers can upload any work to because we don't have the right permissions. Well, one does but he was on holiday and didn't leave us the correct password! To get round the fiasco I had to upload to a different server and ask the studio manager (who does have the right permissions) to move all the images over. In total this involved three to four hours wasted going back and forth over and over again, slowly going mad in the process. However, at least it's now all finished and I must admit I was pleased with the end results.
Being a Friday the trains were much less busy (hurrah) so I had a relaxing journey home listening to some calming music on my headphones. Then it was off at the other end and down to the village pub for a pint with my brother. It was busy but not too noisy and felt lovely and Christmassy into the bargain. We had a great time and it was the perfect end to the day.
Today's image is a still life I came up with quickly and features the bathroom sink, some glittery stars I found. The scissors were a last second addition.
