I'm not quite sure how to deal with my eldest child at the moment. She used to be a nail biter and with a lot of rewards and the thought of getting painted nails, after a few years she stopped. But since she has been in the juniors she has picked the skin on her thumbs. I noticed today that both of them are so red and angry and it now spreads down nearly to the palm of her hand. I guess it's time to admit defeat and as for some professional help. My poor little girl :(
