Tis the season …

To queue for expensive stamps to put on almost as expensive cards - especially for those going outside the UK. The queue was almost exclusively people of a certain vintage. I suspect Christmas card posting may well be rapidly becoming an endangered activity. Electronic festive comms are easy and apart from server costs far cheaper. But somehow, not the same as a handwritten meaningful festive missive .
