The meadowsweet at the side of the A9 was a familiar sight this night.

On the way down the road to Christine's. the traffic ground to a halt on the A9. I phoned home, and my nephew Graham told me that the A9 had been closed due to an accident.

I can now say that I have reversed up the A9. We had to do this in convoy, but I have to say that the police had things very well organised. Unfortunately, when we came off the A9, I had not a clue where I was. Was Crieff on the way to Glasgow? Anyway, I made it home eventually.

However, I have to say that it is a brilliant side effect of these diversions in life that you get to see areas of the country not seen before........ I shall go back to Crieff. What a lovely place.
