RSPB Saltholme

We are off on our annual Pre-Christmas jaunt to meet up with my sister and brother in law. This year we are in Saltburn by the sea and popped into RSPB Saltholme on the way here. It is a lovely small reserve in the middle of a very industrial landscape but the birds are there so I am happy.
Sadly we arrived at our rental apartment to find it is not up to standard, our bedroom in particular is quite ghastly with cheap bedding and the curtains literally hanging off the wall. No one is answering the phone, grrr, and we have dinner reservations soon so look like we are going to have to stay for tonight. A move may be on the cards tomorrow.
