Work is progressing

J the plasterer came today and put on the second coat of plaster.  He’ll do the third coat tomorrow, then sand first thing on Monday.  I’m not looking forward to that part but it’ll be good to get it done.  J is doing a very good job.  

A the painter popped in to have a second look at the stairwell.  He’ll come on Monday and put on the undercoat, then back Thursday and Friday to put on the two top coats.

By the end of next week the heating system will be installed.

We posted the New Zealand cards that we can’t deliver in person.  Now we just have to write the ones we can deliver in person, and send PDFs to a bunch of other people.

We visited the Oamaru Public Gardens on our way back from posting the cards and walked through this peaceful area of the Chinese Garden.
