Let’s Dance

There is a more disturbing picture of Duncan dancing at tonight’s rehearsal, but I am not allowed to post it as it may upset those of a sensitive nature!
So I’ll settle for this one of him and our director throwing some shapes. Neither of them are in the number being rehearsed on stage, but that didn’t stop them enthusiastically joining in.
Tonight we covered off what should have been done on Sunday, as we had to cancel that rehearsal due to the snow. Pressure is starting to build now as we only have three weeks of rehearsals before Christmas. And I think there’s only a couple of those where we’ll have everyone present. One bit of good news though is that I have a new costume. One that actually fits!!
It’s been another cold day today but my trainer soon had me warmed up with a strenuous PT session this morning. In the afternoon I managed to get my car off the drive after four days of it being buried in snow, and popped into town to do some shopping and go to the library. Whilst the town centre and main bus routes are pretty much clear now, there is still a lot of ice and snow on the side roads - parking at The Bryce was definitely a bit tricky tonight.
I think some serious line learning is now required before Sunday and the next rehearsal…
