Solitude

When we arrived (D came to loiter with coffee) the birds were on the other side of the bay with Andy, but this one was taking some time to itself. In the background the steamer heads south towards Glenridding.

I don’t know if that’s Helvellyn or Catstye Cam in the extra.   Maybe neither. Could be the Lake District Ski Club.

I knew that the swans weren’t aggressive,  but didn’t get too close to the geese.   Snowy Cross Fell in the distance.
