The secret life of the cat

As I was leaving work this evening I passed a young cat in the car park going in the opposite direction. I did a double take and saw her walk straight in to the Health Centre so I quickly followed her as she gave the pharmacy a quick sniff before heading purposefully into the waiting room. I caught up with her as she checked out several patients to see if she knew them and as I jogged to catch up she headed off in the direction of the consulting rooms. I managed to head her off before she got inside any of them and carried her back outside and, of course, then tried to get a picture of her.

At this point I heard a man's voice say, "There you are!" I then realised he was talking to the cat rather than me. Anyway, it transpired the cat had adopted the man, who lives in the same road as the Health Centre, last Friday evening but had been missing since 10 am this morning. Although he said he was in two minds about whether to keep her, judging by the fuss they were making of each other I think her place in his family is guaranteed. Time to get her a collar ;)
