Scruff of the neck

Monday again so while Son2 had his drum lesson I popped long to get my weekly gosling fix. They are virtually geese now but still have a certain cuddliness about them. All the offspring from both Canada Goose families have survived thus far and continue to thrive...unlike the three little ducklings I saw last week who were conspicuous by their absence today :( There were plenty of adult Mallards around though, including these two who, I believe, fell out over a piece of bread (or a female; it's hard to be sure as it all happened so quickly).

PS - Just realised it was ducks in action a year ago as well :D
