Snow

I was up early this morning for the drive back from Newcastle to Kirkby Lonsdale, and what a beautiful morning for a drive! The sky was clear and sunny, and there was snow everywhere.

The Minx and I spent the morning working from Kirkby Lonsdale, and drove down to Salford at lunchtime to finish the day working there.

In the early evening we walked into Manchester to do a bit of shopping, meeting up with Hannah, and then going for dinner at Rafa's. After that, the plan was that we'd go and try the new 'secret bar' that the Minx discovered recently near The Everyman.

And it was bloody secret, too! I went ahead to meet Yoss and spent sometime trying to work out exactly where it was, despite the A board on the pavement. 

Anyway, I finally found it and we all met up. It was all right; a bit too much like a hotel lobby, although the service was good.
