View from the table
We had six for ringing in the morning and ringers made up two thirds of the congregation. We then had a quick PCC meeting. Afterwards, we drove up to a church members’ house for a parish lunch. It must be one of the nicest houses I have been to in the area with a high position looking directly out onto Canigou. I took a photo exactly from where I was sitting for lunch. We had a shared meal, a simple beef stew with little savoury pastries for starters and cake and custard for pudding. I returned to write up the minutes before setting off for more ringing to announce this evening’s concert, a combination of a mandolin and an accordion player and the local choir.
