Saturday morning fun

The family arrived just after 11.00 pm and Eda spotted the elves straight away - see yesterday’s blip. Jude was tired and fractious so went straight to bed so we agreed to wait till morning to choose an elf.
To my surprise Eda chose Snap, purely because she had sparkly buttons on her skirt, and she has retained their names. She loves them and of course their skirts had to come off straight away! She did try the green trousers on which I thought looked great, Jude didn’t want the red ones, purely because Eda had the green pair. No matter it was decided their stripey bodies were pyjamas so beds had to be made for them under the tree.

Tree trimming was meant to be the activity of the morning and a bit was done before breakfast and some more after the girls were dressed. Eda seemed to want to put everything  at the top!
Both elves, with skirts, have gone off to Harrogate to John’s sister’s for lunch.  They will meet up with us again later in Bingley Market Square where our singing group are performing for the Christmas light switch on. Hope we can all stand the cold!
