Okay, so I'm pretty sure that I won't be checking out D22 tonight. I was overly excited and optimistic and fooled myself into believing I wouldn't be entirely exhausted. It's hot! I've been in Scotland too long.

This is a Chinese TLR. It's heavy and would hurt if I threw it at someone, but "Built like a rock" implies a certain level of functionality I don't think it deserves. Those of you who don't know me will soon find out I love anyone or anything that seems like it's had an exciting and interesting life. Sometimes I wonder about the family portraits shot against the great wall using this camera. I bet some dad framed the shot with his wife and child (or children pre '79), pulled the lever to prep the timed shutter release and ran into the picture with a huge smile on his face. That picture could be sitting, framed, on his dresser right now. Oh, I also daydream a lot.
