Gently down the stream

The squirrel on the corner

A very frosty grey morning.  Not much around in the reserve, but I wanted to walk into town and feed the robins on the way.  So I saw little more than said robins, blackbirds and distant flocks of tits.  However, I did see this squirrel, who is resident on the corner of path leading down to the pond.  He seems to live by himself but I do hope he has friends.  The tamest robin was so hungry he very delicately snatched a mealwork from between my fingers as I was putting a few out.

After which a tiring time shopping and not a lot else, but we have a birthday celebration tonight for K's partner, which will be fun.

Hope your day's been a good one.  Have a great weekend  xx
