Grey Heron

It was -3 this morning and the loch was frozen over. The little female (pictured) and the male were the only 2 heron around. The little female got a really good feed and the male got a fair bit too. I went back in the afternoon with a bit more as this is the difficult time for them. Thankfully there had been a bit of a thaw but it didn't stop the male (extra) coming over for an extra feed! As usual the crows all had biscuits!
