Hoi An

We’re now in Hoi An : the city of lanterns & a trading port with a rich cultural heritage. The heavens opened just after lunch and an old lady on a bicycle managed to spot I needed a poncho!
Back at the hotel for a swim and then went out to explore the city again in the dark . The river is full of boats decorated with lanterns and people launching paper boats with candles in them - for luck/ prosperity. It’s a much more touristy place than Hanoi which felt authentic.
