Mid-afternoon

Mr Rat's birthday today but we didn't get a chance to do anything until this evening when we went into town for a tasty Thai meal.
The usual shopping, Health Walk and Cafe cooking (one volunteer short and fairly busy for an hour).
During cafe we had 3 requests for our foodbank, food for 4 people in all, which is more than we've had in a week, recently. The cold spell must be really stretching budgets.
One of them was for someone without a car and she was being collected to go for her tea at the friend's I was visiting on Tuesday out in the country. So I took the bags out there for her (apparently she was very touched to receive help) and had some lovely views on my way. The blip is from just near their house looking back toward Dundee (behind the low hills) soon after 3pm.
I had a short run once home before it got dark and then it was time to get ready to go out.
