Last rose of summer

or first rose of winter. 
A day at home catching up with admin, moving furniture and doing some crafts. I had to wind 2 skeins of wool which proved harder than usual as the hanks were just a bit too big to fit on the swift and tended to fall off. I've not had that problem before.
A run with the group in the evening.
Mr Rat's birthday today but the postal strike has delayed all cards and presents bar 2 and he was out all day with things at church and  helping at the meal for the elderly that happens there. We'll have a birthday meal tomorrow
