Swans on the Thames

We went for a lovely long walk from Tower Bridge back to our flat in Farringdon in beautiful sunshine this afternoon.  Lots of Christmas market stalls and tourists along the river even though it was cold.  There has been a large group of swans on the river just below St Paul's Cathedral for many months. 

You can see the reclamation barge with its long load better in the first extra which also shows the dramatic sky.  The second extra shows a small but noisy protest in front of the cathedral.
