Did it fall or was it pushed?

Today my phone hit the deck by accident for once and then a rubbish thing happened later in the day - nothing serious. it is actually not the first time important events have fallen through over a telephone conversation and my phone has become injured.

If you break a mirror, which is essentially glass, the superstition is that you get seven years' worth of bad luck so they say. I've never been very protective of my phone, in fact i have been known to drop it on purpose when a bit cross and it dawned on me that there may be a modern day superstition applicable to mobile phones too. I'm starting to see a correlation between the state of my phone and the outcome of my chaotic organisation.
