November Dusting
A bitterly cold day, rain and sleet this morning, turning to haily-puckles and snow, calm and gentle snow tonight.
Another early shift in the airport. Mostly working on the check-in desk today, and fairly quiet flights. All flights on time. Popped by Laura's on my way home. Walkies with Sammy after work. Working in the shop this evening, and a steady night of customers. Feet up now. Mam phoned, she's made it home safely. A good night's rest needed, and I'll see her in the morning.
When I woke at 5am, the skies were clear and the ground was bone dry. 545am I arrived at my car, ice free and no signs of snow or ice anywhere. A couple of hours into work, passengers arriving started saying about the snow. Break arrived, and they were right, it had been snowing. Most of the snow seems to be lying on higher ground, thankfully not on the roads. Hopefully it'll stay clear for tomorrow too. Taken at Hillock, Boddam, looking to the Ward of Scousburgh.
