Christmas Do

Tonight we had our work’s Christmas do in a pub in Cherry Hinton. The food was fine but a bit cold. It was lovely to see everyone though and we had a good catch up. Management paid for our meals which was nice.
My session was cancelled this morning but only after I’d spent nearly an hour in traffic trying to get into central Cambridge. I then went straight over to Addenbrookes and picked my dad up. He’s doing well but not keen on the idea of six weeks off work! As soon as we got in he started setting the fire and was lifting buckets of coal (see extra) . I think mum’s a bit worried he’s going to pop his stitches so instructed him to sit down!
