Another garden

We left Bruny Island this morning and drove back to Hobart. This afternoon I wandered around the Botanical Garden. Established in 1818, it’s the second oldest in Australia - Sydney pre-dates it by just a few years. 

I took the photo in the fern garden, where a blackbird was busily collecting plant material and dipping it in the water - I’m not sure what the point of this was.
