Twin Oaks Valley Road

Walking down from Chris’s for a final morning coffee this time at Urban Sweet. Tasty, not hot enough. The cappuccino’s seem to be served cool.

A bit of a final walk around, back to Chris’s for lunch. Packed up, loaded up and now at the departure gate just 20 minutes after being dropped off. What a difference to LHR on the way out.

Not sure why the road is called Twin Oaks. Going in the opposite direction the road takes you up a steep incline to Double Peak Park which, if my memory serves me correctly, has two prominent trees on the ridge.

The curvy sidewalk on this stretch of the road is interesting. The trees are not oaks. Many of the roads are so wide, this one also has a separate sidewalks and cycle paths.

Landon was off school today. He has a bit of a cough. It meant we had a few unexpected hours with him this morning. We all played a last few board games before it was time to leave for the airport.

The inbound flight from London has just arrived at 4.15pm. Some work to be done ready for a 6.05pm departure.

Bittersweet at the gate. Looking forward to getting home, sad to be leaving them all.
