In the wintertime

It rained all afternoon, huge cloudburst style rain that flooded my patio, and before I knew what was happening, it was teatime and dark.  The prickly bush that I don't know the name of tends towards a mass of woody, tangly twigs, but it illuminated nicely under the floodlight.

In the summertime, when the weather is hot
All the flowers are out and all the wasps are flyin'
When the weather's fine
You got nature, you got nature on your mind
Take a look, take a pic
Of all the insects you can find

When the winter's here, yeah it's dark outside
Bring your torch, wear your warm clothes
'Cause it's cold and wet besides
But the prickly bush's
Full of red berries that birds will probably find
