I abandoned the family shortly after an early breakfast, salvaging half a banana from Liv, and escaped to the Kilpatrick Hills with Glasgow Ramblers.

It was a glorious walk up to the reservoirs in a cold mist that intensified as the day progressed. A great mix of good friends and new faces including a couple who recently walked the entire Camino del Norte. Just do it, they said. Which I probably will.
