Fallen petals.

The lovely bunch of Inca Lilies that I bought last week has come to an end, with the petals dropping off. Pity as I so enjoyed the lovely flowers but I have many memories coming into flower in the garden.
It has been a great summer day, with no wind! Sister M came for the day and we enjoyed a glass or two of wine on the upstairs deck.
The day ended with watching Strictly Come Dancing. 
A busy week ahead, starting with the sadness of a funeral of the daughter of good friends of ours. To die suddenly at the age of only 54 years was such a shock.
