Last Rays of the Sun

Clear conditions with a slight frost in sheltered areas. A lovely sunny day. Nice and crisp outside if you're outside and wrapped up well. There is a very keen wind.

On the afternoon walk. a wee bit earlier than Mon-Thurs afternoon walks, the setting sun shines over north Edinburgh. It highlights the Granton Gasholder, the frame of which is being restored as part of a project to create a new public green space the Granton Waterfront. Just the left of the lamp post, the old Donaldson's College also catches the sun's rays. From the view point, a short walk to a café for Friday afternoon coffee and cake.
