Cold and Colourful

Sunset this evening as we walked Merlin in the meadow.

I had an hour or so at the allotment this afternoon, putting manure onto the garlic beds and digging out rhubarb roots so they don’t take over some of beds. The rhubarb has thrived in the wet summer and autumn weather. Andy and Merlin came over to collect me on their way to the meadow so we could all walk together.

Gratefuls:
- A peaceful breakfast watching the morning light turn the oak trees golden.
- Watching a jay feeding on the grass outside the house.
- A cold sunny day. It finally feels seasonal.
