Whipped Up

The weather today has been such a contrast to the stormy weekend - calm, dry and sunny. The sky treated us to a wonderful display of clouds as we walked at Langstone this morning.

In one of the fields near the old mill we saw three herons and four little egrets, all gathered together in a water logged field. I’ve not seen so many herons together before and wonder if there is a heronry near by.
