Frosty

What a perfect morning to dig up the remaining tatties from the allotment. Wrapped up in double layers, I was as warm as toast. I'd even remembered a wee flask of hot . A real treat.

We have so many potatoes this year. They seem to have really enjoyed the soil conditioner we added and have produced a bumper crop.

Like the leeks, a wee bit of frost makes them tastier, but you have to get in quick before the soil freezes, because then you're stuck! Thankfully we already had a plan to go up today.

Ladened with tatties, leeks and turnips I trudged home like Santa with a big sack on my back. Soup anyone?
