Toilet Seat

Parcel arrived this morning with new toilet seat. There were so many sizes & different types but couldn't find one exact size as previous replacement a few years ago.

Anyway it is now on with a few adjustments looks straight & hopefully will last a few years too. The last one broke at plastic hinge when cleaning earlier in the week.

Boring D-shape seats don't come with beasties or patterns on them or different colours unless willing to pay for a custom!

Spent so long checking & rechecking the sizes when ordering, then seemed to take forever to remove old bits (find the correct crosshead screwdriver & flathead to remove bits), clean down, set up the new top fitting bits - put seat on - adjust - go find a different size crosshead - take seat off - tighten - put seat back on - adjust - repeat - adjust - tighten up - check again - remove seat - put on caps - put seat back on. FFS!!!

I've lost my ability & confidence in being able to to any DIY but at least the seat is on & been tested!

Not becoming a plumber anytime soon!

Make & cuppa & have seat on the couch!
