Bruny sunset
We flew today from Canberra to Hobart in Tasmania, rented a car and drove south to Bruny Island. We arrived at our rental cottage in Alonnah in time for an impressive seafood meal at the local hotel where we enjoyed this view of sunset on the d’Entrecasteaux Channel. Both the island and the channel are named after the French navigator Admiral Antoine Raymond Joseph de Bruni, chevalier d'Entrecasteaux who visited the area in 1793.
