US Thanksgiving

I was unaware (too young?!) to appreciate at the time that President Kennedy was assassinated on the eve of US Thanksgiving in 1963. The increase in UK awareness of this US holiday has grown over the decades and is now well known throughout the U.K. it has also become further embedded in the U.K. psyche through Black Friday promotions. More on that tomorrow.

Today we gave thanks for some wintry sunshine and took the chance to cut the lawn and continue the garden clear up.
