Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Archie and I went to the graveyard this morning, then on the way back I popped in to the chemist to pick up my pills. Upping the dose after going slowly for a couple of weeks. Not doing anything for me, mind you, but I read that it takes 4/5 weeks for any benefit to show, so I'd better keep going.

There was a big black lab running round the graveyard (with its owner) but it was all over the place - miles from the chap, so I don't know how he kept an eye out for any random poos!

JR was going in to town to pick up her dress which had been altered, and after a wee rest, Archie and I decided to go for another walk. I was listening to three podcasts about Oatly, the ubiquitous oat milk, which is not as 'green' as it first seems. It's owned by Big Business, and they're not very nice. So much for their image of trying to save the planet. Check out some of the issues and scandals here, if you're interested. But this website is made by them, so it's meant to be ironic.

We had a wee wander on The Mile, but couldn't really be bothered. The bus was ages, so we just walked back home. I was stuffed! (7,767 steps) I tried to listen to another podcast but fell asleep.
