Up to see the grandchildren yesterday. Quite a successful babysitting; everyone survived, some food was eaten, no shouting, baths taken, remembered that children have to be told to clean their teeth. We did watch two full renditions of Baby Shark and considered ourselves lucky not to watch more.
Home ridiculously tired today, I have no idea how actual parents do this full time. Short walk into the buzzing centre of town (the co-op) via this wonderful low light view over the river, Bought ingredients for, and made, a chocolate and ginger cheesecake. A new venture for me, very uncertain about how much gelatine to use and what the consistency of the cheesecake should be. We will see tomorrow!
