A Barrel of Fun

It was my sister’s birthday today and we’d arranged to have a day out in Edinburgh, so Mr P and I set off on the bus mid morning.
It was all very Christmassy in town. We had a good look around the market before heading to Chez Jules for lunch. After lunch Mr P and my brother in law visited galleries, while the gals hit the shops. While we were out we found out that an offer had been made on our house, less than we’d have liked and we’re not chain free but nevertheless we’re relieved. I was at Carole’s tonight for a planning meeting for our Hebridean Way cycle trip next July.
