Vineyards and rainbows

Today’s walk was an easy one, only 350 metres of ascent and 12 kilometres. it was very pleasant wandering through the autumnal vineyards up to the Dominova hermitage. The monk came out to chat with us and told me that the hermitage cat that I last saw about 10 years ago when I was up there, is still alive and kicking. Today was a day when it was sunny at the coast, but raining in the mountains and we were on the edge of that. It meant that we had a mixture of sunshine and showers, but that produced several rainbows during the walk.
